Video Gallery - Las Vegas Long Jump

Dan tries to jump 7 autos and his 18-wheel hauler lengthwise!  He made it, but not without injuring BIGFOOT.

On December 14th, 1999, Dan Runte jumped seven cars and his 73' hauler lengthwise in Las Vegas, Nevada.  This 175' didn't break his 202' long jump record but it comes in as the number two record.  The landing took its toll, tearing off the right front wheel and bending the chassis.  The jump was recorded for UPN's - "I Dare You, The Ultimate Challenge" televised Jan 18th, 2000.  Dan said that even though he broke off the wheel the landing was not too bad and he suffered no injuries.

2 - Watch how hard Dan is struggling to keep the truck straight.
3 - Watch the FLASH from the pyrotechnics that exploded behind BIGFOOT.
4 - Watch where the video camera flakes out as the truck lands.
5 - Watch how much dust fills the cab around Dan.  Can he see what he is doing?
