Nigel started out in monster
trucks in England with a truck that he called "Wild
Child." In 2000, after getting the opportunity to come
to America, he made his way to BIGFOOT 4x4, Inc. in St. Louis,
MO. While there he was invited by Bob Chandler to attend the
MTRA (Monster Truck
Racing Association) Banquet later that year. Nigel
accepted and attended the event, which is held in December of
every year. Nigel, along with his friend Tim Barks, were the
first ever Europeans to attend the banquet. Nigel also
became the first European to become an official MTRA
Inspector. At the conference that year, the MTRA board voted
unanimously to create an MTRA European division. Nigel was
elected the President. During the conference the next year,
Nigel and Bob Chandler met to discuss having a "BIGFOOT"
monster truck that could be run full-time in Europe. They
both agreed that it would be a great idea, thus giving way to the
construction of BIGFOOT #17. For
